KBRN, Agam; The Agam Regency Government together
with the Ngarai Sianok Maninjau National Geopark Management Agency have
successfully held digitalization training for the old Minangkabau tourist
village in Kotomarapak, Lambah. This event is the result of close
collaboration between Baktikominfo, a leading digital technology
institution, and Atourin, a local startup that focuses on developing
technology-based tourist villages.
This digitalization training aims to introduce
modern technology to traditional tourist villages, so that it can increase
attractiveness and comfort for tourists, as well as strengthen the local
economy.
In his speech, the Head of the Agam district Communication and Information
Service, Rahmad Lasmono S.Sos M.AP, welcomed this collaboration. He
expressed his belief that digitalization would help preserve and promote the
cultural and natural riches of tourist villages in his region.
CEO Atourin and representing the Baktikominfo
team, Reza Permadi S.T., M.Par, also expressed his proudness in being
involved in this activity. "Digitalization is the key to advancing the
tourism sector in the current technological era. By combining natural and
cultural riches with modern technology, these villages will become more
attractive and sustainable tourist destinations," he said.
Atourin, as a technology partner in this project,
provides training on the use of special digital applications and platforms to
market and manage tourist villages. They also provide guidance on how to
integrate technology into daily activities, such as lodging management, online
bookings, and promotions via social media.
The training participants, consisting of village
residents, local entrepreneurs and related stakeholders, seemed enthusiastic
and among other things, hoped that this training would help develop tourism
potential in their area.
Through strong collaboration between the public
and private sectors, it is hoped that this tourism village digitalization
training in Kotomarapak, Lambah, Agam Regency, can become an inspiring
example for other regions that want to develop their tourism potential through
the use of modern technology.
Kotomarapak Village is known as one of
the traditional villages that still maintains the local wisdom of Minangkabau
culture. This cultural richness includes traditional houses, unique
architecture, and a variety of daily life practices that are closely related to
Minang traditions.
